Challenge
Bringing together hundreds of colleagues from across the Asia Pacific region comes with more than just operational complexity. The challenge was to create an experience that felt inclusive and relevant - one that respected different cultures, celebrated achievements, and aligned teams around a shared direction for the year ahead.
Solution
The approach was hands-on and immersive: a meticulously developed programme brought together employees from across the region, blending functional conference sessions with in-depth explorations of key topics. The event was a seamless mix of logistics, travel coordination, and dynamic scheduling, ensuring every participant was engaged from start to finish. Special segments were crafted for the leadership team, focusing on the company’s core values and fostering a sense of shared purpose. The result was a vibrant atmosphere where digital tools, live experiences, and creative content intersected to make every moment count.
The programme was designed to unfold over several days, with each segment serving a clear purpose.
Day one opened with a conference session that introduced the new VP and set the tone for the future. Rather than relying on traditional presentations, AXIS’ growth pillars were brought to life through a scripted play - making strategic direction easier to connect with and remember. The evening transitioned into a black-tie, awards-style celebration inspired to recognise achievements from the past year.
Day two focused on connection. A roadmap session was followed by team-building activities that encouraged collaboration across regions. The evening celebration highlighted APAC’s diversity, featuring local food, regional games, and a heritage performance that reflected Malaysia’s culture.
The final days shifted into focused breakout sessions, where regional teams aligned on priorities and mapped out their paths toward AXIS’ goals.
Impact
Over 300 participants from across APAC took part in the experience. The programme encouraged open conversations, stronger alignment, and meaningful connections across teams - setting a positive and focused tone for the year ahead.
